Talking about a characteristic place in Colombia

 In this activity, I made a video talking about a characteristic place in Colombia, and I chose to talk about Guatapé, Antioquia — a wonderful place with beautiful colors, a large reservoir, and an impressive rock. This activity helped me connect my vocabulary with tourism and appreciate the beauty that Colombia has to offer.

Crime and Punishment

 The topic of  crime and punishment  makes us reflect on justice, ethics, and human behavior. Every society creates laws to protect people and maintain order, but sometimes we wonder if all punishments are fair. I believe that punishment should not only serve to correct a crime but also to help people change and reintegrate into society. Education, empathy, and social support are essential for preventing crimes. When I read or watch stories about criminals, I try to think critically:  What made this person commit a crime? Could society have helped before it happened? This perspective helps me understand that justice is not only about punishment but also about learning and improvement.

Describing an important person in our life

 In this activity, I made a short video describing a person. In my case, I described my mother, who is one of the most important people in my life. For this task, I used adjectives and expressions in the present continuous tense to explain what she does in her daily life. With this activity, I was able to overcome my shyness and feel more confident speaking this language in front of a camera.
